Job Purpose

The Establishment team will drive the set-up, standalone design and implementation of all required structure and capabilities to enable Unilever’s Ice Cream business to become a fully functioning standalone company, separate from Unilever. The roles in the Establishment team will sit with the Asia Ice Cream business and will work closely with the Unilever Separation team.

This role will lead the establishment of the end-to-end Supply Chain function, including Procurement, of this standalone company. This role will partner with the Ice Cream Asia Supply Chain Lead and work closely with other Functional Leads led by the Ice Cream Establishment Program Asia Lead. This will require collaboration with business leaders, coordination across different functional and BU workstreams and overall set up of a future-fit Supply Chain & Procurement functions for the standalone Ice Cream organization.

The successful candidate will be one that has deep Supply Chain expertise, within the Ice Cream industry, with a proven record of leading large-scale transformation and has a passion for change management, simplification, communication and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the Ice Cream industry. This role will exist in its current form for ~18-24 months. We expect the separation process to have been concluded in this period with post-separation governance established.

Main Responsibilities

This role will be the Supply Chain Lead for the successful enablement of a standalone Ice Cream company that is geared for future success as a market leader in its industry. The role will be part of a dedicated, multi-disciplinary team led by the Ice Cream Establishment Program Asia Lead.

Responsible for the diligence, planning and execution of all Supply Chain establishment activities in the region (e.g, manufacturing site readiness, 3PL readiness, product / supply flows re-mapped, Purchase orders, inventory builds, facility separation etc.).

Coordinate with Global Supply Chain PMO Lead to plan for regional separation and provide regular updates about progress, risks and issues; serve as key point of contact for local in-country Supply Chain leads.

Provide input into key Supply Chain requirements for country profiles, timelines and workplans.

Develop and manage regional Supply Chain establishment workplan.

Manage and track cross-functional interdependencies.

Deliverables

List of Supply Chain requirements for the region.

Regular updates (progress, risks, issues) related to Supply Chain establishment activities.

Supply Chain inputs for country diligence (country profiles, country timelines, country workplans)

Detailed Supply Chain Separation and Establishment workplan (including key milestones, activities, owners, timelines etc.)

List of cross-functional interdependencies.

Candidate Criteria

Experience & Qualification

Proven experiences in leading complex Supply Chain projects across diverse geographical locations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively influence stakeholders at all levels.

Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment with project goals.

Additional Information

Contract term: This role will be using local fixed-term with travel requirement for the job on a monthly basis within the region.
