Amazon Development Center Taiwan is looking for an energetic, smart-working, and creative candidate to join our operation team in Taipei.
The Role and Responsibilities include:
[Supplier Management]
Own supplier (ODM/OEM/JDM) relationship and manage business escalations
Lead supplier (ODM/OEM/JDM) selection and contract negotiation
Provide overall management and support for business negotiations, covering cost, supply, and vendor funding agreements
Conduct regular business review with suppliers to ensure continuous improvement on scorecard performance
Establish a competitive sourcing environment leading to continuous improvement in quality, cost, service and technology
[Cost Management]
Manage cost (MVA and NRE) from project RFQ throughout end of life
Identifies and implements cost savings opportunities
Have strong knowledge base to come out should-be MVA/NRE and action for business negotiation with the suppliers
Familiar with leading RFQ activity and have ability to close the deal under financial guardrail
Ability to innovate on issues related to strategic sourcing, vendor relations, quality assurance and the associated measurement systems
People management experience
Ability to develop efficient work processes for complex projects involving many groups, across multiple geographies and effectively coordinate, implement, and maintain those processes
