Participate in Europe or US financial statement reviews.
Maintain processes and controls to manage accounts payable functions.
Respond to employees or vendors inquiries.
Support KPMG audit for accounts payable samples.
Responsible for providing accurate financial bookings from daily work.
Support colleagues to ensure effective, efficient operations on related processes.
Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
Accounts payable tasks and accounting related duties.
Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
Process Purchase orders and matching invoices.
Process ad-hoc vendor check requests.
Respond to vendor inquiries.
Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
Assist in month end and year end closing.
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
Assist with other projects as needed.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferably in accounting.
Ability to adapt quickly, learn new tasks independently and manage competing priorities.
Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting firm.
Effective written and verbal communication skills bilingual in English.
GL accounting background or general understanding.
Understanding of accounting processes, procedures and internal controls.
Strong excel spreadsheet and database skills.
Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines.
Ability to work in a team environment.
ERP knowledge desirable, preferably in Oracle/Coupa/Concur.
Manufacturing and consumer goods industry experience.
Ability to generate bold, creative ideas to improve performance.
