General Purpose:
Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for introduce the new products mechanical and packaging processes into mass production, quality yield improvement, reduce cost and scrap for Mice and SCUF product line.
Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Drives DVT to MP phase for new product introductions in the factory and at subcontracted partners
- Reviews DFM with R&D, Mechanical Engineering, and supplier quality management ensure the new product is easy to manufacture.
- Ensure factory capacity (equipment, material and workforce) is in place to meet Corsair demand and resolve issue in a timely manner.
- Ensures resources are in place to react to low yield events in real time once in MP phase.
- Further improve the TAO production efficiency by reducing the cycle time
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years experience in mechanical DFM generates innovative solution.
- Ability to generate project requirements, resolve product/process problems, support the development of new products/processes, initiate technical investigations, prepare design specifications, analyses, and make and support recommendations to management. 3D CAD software application and analysis skills.
- Manage all quality-related issues within the supplier manufacturing for 5 years.
- Provide the technical and reliability expertise by managing asset reliability risk.
- 3+ years experience in packaging generates innovative packaging solutions
- 3D CAD and Illustrator software application and analysis skills
- Maintains and improves equipment reliability through identifying/correcting bad actors, conducting root cause analyses and implementing preventive/predictive maintenance programs in support of continuous improvement
- Fluent in written, verbal and reading skills.
