Central Functions IT provides the Bachem Group with digital business solutions and enterprise platforms. To further strengthen our team, we are looking for dedicated Service Now Product Owner (f/m/d), 100% to drive the development and enhancement of our Service Now platform.

As a Service Now Product Owner, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, management and optimization of the Service Now platform within our organization. You will work closely with stakeholders, development/delivery resources and other key personnel to ensure that the platform meets business needs and delivers maximum value.

This role requires a hands-on attitude and strategic mindset with a deep understanding of Service Now capabilities and a passion for driving digital transformation.

Your tasks:

• Develop roadmap for the platform aligned with the platform strategy, business objectives and stakeholder needs

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their needs, and translate them into actionable user stories and features

• Manage and prioritize backlog in alignment with process owners for the configuration of system functionalities and enterprise-wide business & IT workflows

• Define and refine user stories and ensure successful implementation of features with release planning and change management

• Implement features in collaboration with external developer resources to ensure that features are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards

• Maintain the platform with incident resolution, root cause analysis and bug fixing

• Ensure platform lifecycle management and release upgrades

• Ensure platform adoption with user trainings and enable data-driven decision with reports and dashboards for stakeholders

• Stay up-to-date with the latest Service Now features and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the platform.

• Support the team’s Central Functions IT service portfolio as system owner and deputy of further business solutions

• Specify, implement and maintain technical system integrations

• Ensure compliance to CSV requirements, IT policies and procedures

• Contribute to projects as SME on behalf of Central Functions IT

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s in computer science, information systems or equivalent

• Minimum three years of experience in managing and operating Service Now platforms. Certification would be an asset.

• Strong understanding of Service Now platform capabilities and modules, especially ITSM

• Proven ability to manage and prioritize a product backlog

• Strong experience in managing external partners, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication skills, able to understand problems and present solutions towards business partners

• Knowledge of system integrations and development (e.g. Java Script / Python) or willing to develop competencies

• Independent, and hands-on working style, team player, highly self-motivated, proactive and change oriented

• ITIL certification would be an asset

• Knowledge of regulated environments (CSV, Gx P) would be an asset

• Fluent English skills mandatory, good German knowledge is an asset
