Your work environment: We are looking for a Sales Manager whose primary responsibility will be to manage customer portfolios in Germany directly or in conjunction with the relevant Account Managers. The position is based in Zug (Switzerland) and reports to the VP Commercial Europe.
Your mission in Crown: The successful candidate will deliver Sales volumes/value/prices against Budget / Objectives defined by our Swiss Principal company. You analyse competitors and industrial trends within the market to support decision-making, identify and evaluate new market trends/opportunities and develop these opportunities for new business to grow the company’s market share. You collaborate with customers to receive and analyse customer forecasts (short & long-term). You monitor and manage inventory levels by Customer, in accordance with contractual commitments and liaise with Art & Repro with respect to design development & approval. You represent the company and maintain regular contact with key Customers/Accounts. You arrange proactive visits to the customer/filling locations to maintain good relations and improve our understanding of Customer requirements.
About you: You are a graduate from a Business School or an Engineering School with at least 3-5 years’ post Business School/University commercial experience. Although an advantage, a packaging background is not essential but you will have acquired some experience in customer service, account management and/or business development. High levels of proficiency in spoken and written German and English are essential for this role. You are IT literate, a self-starter, with excellent interpersonal skills (negotiation, organisation and selling skills) and strong communication/influencing skills. You have a continuous improvement orientation/mind-set and are capable of working to tight deadlines.
