Complete an internship project at SOPHi A GENETICS whose mission is to build the future of AI-assisted medicine, joining the Bioinformatics Services Team as a Junior Bioinformatician Intern.
Your mission:
You will be involved in supporting the client-facing bioinformatics team by analyzing data from clients in the process of implementing a SOPHi A-powered assay – i.e. clients going through Max Care programs. This includes running NGS pipelines, curating variants, and assisting in the creation of client-facing presentations.
You will be involved in:

Receiving training on Max Care programs, including NGS pipeline operations and release procedures.

Running NGS pipelines for Max Care programs to support accurate variant analysis.

Curating and analyzing confirmed variants submitted by Max Care users, leveraging the non-regression system.

Assisting in preparing client-facing presentations for the Max Care program.

Joining Max Care client calls in an observer role to gain firsthand experience with client interactions.

Requirements
The experience you bring:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Science, Biology or Bioinformatics

Proficient in version control systems, specifically Git.

Comfortable using the command line for task execution and automation.

Experience with NGS data analysis is a plus.

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Ability to prioritize the tasks effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team.
