Head of Industrial Cooling Market (m/f/d)

In this position, you ensure that the company’s offerings in the industrial cooling segment are effectively tailored and marketed to meet the customers' needs, ultimately driving growth and profitability within this important business for GF Piping Systems. In close collaboration with the senior leaders, you will define strategic initiatives and identify growth opportunities. You must provide leadership and direction to the Cooling team (Specialized Sales within the Sales Companies, Product Managers, Business Developers, and other Verticals), fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment and building a strong and trusted relationship with the sales organizations and other departments.


    Lead the development of the business strategy, and translate it into initiatives and action plans
    Monitor and evaluate the progress of strategic initiatives, identifying potential risks and recommending adjustments as needed
    Manage and market an attractive product portfolio to the targeted industry segments in close collaboration with Product Management, R&D, Marketing and Customization & Engineering
    Drive innovation and continuous improvement in cooling solutions portfolio, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer needs by monitoring market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks
    Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, industry partners, suppliers, and internal teams
    Drive the penetration and expansion of GF Piping Systems' influence together with the Cooling team for targeted accounts like owners, engineers, and global contractors by crafting and fortifying owner guidelines, master specifications, and project specifications
    Support sales organizations with the development of annual budgets and action plans

    Bachelor’s or master’s degree and a minimum of ten years experience as a Market Segment Manager, Business Development Manager, or Sales in the industrial cooling sector, refrigeration, air conditioning, or related fields) with an established network (is a must)
    Strong verbal and presentation skills including analytical and interpersonal skills
    Passion to build relationships and the ability to inspire institutions, decision-makers, and stakeholders from your ideas
    English skills must be on a high professional level, other languages are an asset
    Willingness to travel >30%
