The Global Regulatory Leader for Tyvek® Personal Protection f/m will be responsible for driving global/regional industry standards strategy focusing on chemical protective clothing products specifications and testing methods, as well as relevant sustainability global regulations. He/she will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including the Application Development, Product , Marketing and Sales to ensure a clear understanding of any impacts on our product portfolio and execute seamlessly on our strategy.
Your key responsibilities:
Define global positions on standards for Tyvek® PPE Segments.
Lead the development and execution of the business strategy within the PPE industry standards framework.
Contribute to the revision of key product specifications or test method by leading or participating in the external working groups.
Collaborate with Business and Technology leadership to define priorities and provide input for NPD roadmaps.
Provide support with demands and questions on standards and PPE regulations
Support the development of internal testing capabilities in the framework of key industry standards in Chemical Protective Clothing.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders, including executives, customers, and partners, globally.
Stay up to date with global regulations impacting our products portfolio, with a strong focus on sustainability.
Represent Du Pont Personal Protection and grow relationships with international standards setting bodies like ISO, CEN, CENELEC and Oeko-Tex®
Lead and coordinate strategic support to these standards setting bodies as part of Du Pont commitment to protecting more workers globally.
Collaborate with key industry associations to nurture external networking and contribute to the sustainable advancement of PPE industry.
This job may require travel up to 25% of work time.
Qualifications:
Ph D or MSc or BSc in Chemistry or Material Science or Chemical Engineering or related field
Experience in product R&D with a demonstrated track record of successful project leadership
Experience in Chemical Protective Clothing is a very strong advantage for the position.
