Global Head of Sustainability and Compliance
100 % (m/w/d)
The Head of Sustainability and Compliance is responsible for leading and shaping the Global Sustainability Program and the Global Integrity & Compliance Program for the Acino Group based on the highest pharma industry standards.
Your Opportunities:
Define and lead initiatives to foster a strong culture of sustainability, integrity and compliance throughout the organization.
Act as primary Company spokesperson on topics of sustainability, corporate social responsibility, ESG, integrity and compliance.
Ensure robust governance structures, including regular reporting to Company leadership and relevant committees, and periodic reporting to the Board or a designated committee.
Act as key contact with Arcera and ADQ on all Sustainability and Compliance matters, including reporting against relevant scorecards and minimum standards.
Manage a team of approximately 5 direct reports in Global Sustainability, Integrity & Compliance and Data Protection.
Ensure implementation of all elements of a robust and mature compliance program in line with the U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
Identify and mitigate existing and emerging compliance risks, including in areas of healthcare compliance, bribery and corruption, export controls and sanctions and third party due diligence.
Develop and update policies and practices in the areas of compliance monitoring and whistleblowing. Provide guidance on investigations, conclusions and remediation plans.
Provide direction and oversight to the Regional Integrity & Compliance teams, ensuring full implementation of Global Integrity & Compliance program throughout the Acino Group.
Create and execute comprehensive Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies, including short-, mid- and long-term targets for Acino to be the pharmaceutical partner of choice.
Oversee Sustainability communications, reporting and metrics, ensuring data integrity and transparency.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in sustainability practices across our supply chain, in line with our decarbonization roadmap and interim emissions targets.
Provide leadership in the Company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives, building cross-functional teams to address opportunities across our regions.
Who you are:
Law degree or similar educational level.
Professional training in ESG/Sustainability and Healthcare Compliance preferred.
Minimum 6 years’ experience in compliance and/or sustainability, preferably at a pharma company, with at least several years in a leadership role.
Ability to develop and implement long-term sustainability strategies that align with the company’s goals and values.
Deep understanding of local, national, and international sustainability frameworks and regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards in healthcare compliance.
Strong skills in engaging and collaborating with various stakeholders, including employees, regulators, customers, and the community.
Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks.
Proficiency in tracking sustainability metrics, analyzing data, and reporting on performance to stakeholders.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence senior management, and drive organizational change towards sustainability goals.
Creative thinking to develop innovative solutions for sustainability challenges and continuously improve practices.
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey sustainability initiatives and progress to diverse audiences.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken / Other languages skills are a plus.
