The Operations function, thanks to its global scale and drive for innovation, is playing a meaningful role in PMI’s business transformation. For our Digital & Analytics Strategy team in Lausanne, Switzerland, we are looking for an Intern to contribute to the definition and execution of key forward looking initiatives for PMI Operations.


Who we’re looking for

• Available from February for 12 months
• Someone with a passion for data, analytics and curiosity to understand operations business processes.

• Studies in management, technology and entrepreneurship.
• Tech Savvy.
• Initiative, autonomy, communication and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge in software engineering tools and best practices.
• Experience in data collection, management and analysis.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.

Roles & Objectives


In your assignment, you will be part of two key strategic initiatives.
The first one, E2E Differentiated Network program. Within this program, we are transforming the ways of working across our operations segment. We are looking for a person with strong analytical skills to analyze processes in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sourcing and Logistic, and to build recommendations to re-define such processes to increase the synchronization on the full network (from Demand planning to Delivery) while monitoring the performance of such improvements. This project is unique and the person joining our team will be able to be immersed on the full operations value chain, don’t miss the chance!
The second one consists in supporting key financial processes for our function and to develop tools to improve them. This includes developing an automated tracking and forecasting mechanism for project budget and spend within our portfolio. You will also be required to collaborate with various functions to understand business processes, collect information and communicate progress.
