Our Visitor Experience teams ensures that our guests experience our genuine, warm and welcoming atmosphere at our venues at IKEA in Älmhult. IKEA will always stand for a family friendly and inspiring experience, wherever you meet us. We do that by creating excellent operation of our venues and by meeting the needs of our guests. We interact with our guests at IKEA Museum, IKEA Hotell, Meeting Centre, Aktivitetshuset and many more places in Älmhult. We are also happy to share our IKEA heritage through inspiring stories about IKEA, life at home, home furnishing and design. Giving our guests a glimpse behind the scenes of IKEA and our brand.
We are now at the starting point of an exciting journey to expand our scope. Are you ready to join the ride? We are now looking for several new colleagues to join our teams. As a Visitor Experience co-worker you meet our guests at IKEA Hotell or IKEA Museum. You guide them to all our exciting places in Älmhult or give them a tour through IKEA history. You are also expected to contribute to and develop our Hospitality agenda. Your main tasks will be:
Make all guests feel welcome and exceed their expectation by ensuring a seamless experience regardless of where in Älmhult you meet them.
Coordinate activities that contribute to the guest experience and caters for their need.
Provide a professional service and be able to share deep IKEA knowledge and introduce the guest to Älmhult as a destination
Perform guided tours
Understand the visitor needs and expectations and take responsibility if any unforeseen situations arise
Handle payments in our different venues
Ensure all areas are in shape as new on a daily basis
Qualification
We are looking for you who are a people person and who loves to provide service and create a memorable guest experience. The guests always comes first to you and you always try to exceed the guests expectations. You are passionate about the IKEA brand and our culture and values. You are a natural communicator who have no trouble in communicating with people, both one-to-one and in large groups, in both English and Swedish. We preferably see that you have worked within the service industry before and have good knowledge of digital tools and systems. You are a natural problem solver, who sees opportunities for improvement instead of problems.
Prerequisites:
Some years of working experience from the service industry
Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
Able to make decisions and prioritize in a hectic environment
A team player of rang who likes to cooperate with others
Swedish working permit, making you eligible to work in Sweden
At least 18 years of age
More Information
We now offer permanent a part time position around 8-10 hours a week, during evening and weekends. A great opportunity to have as an extra job during your studies for example. Our working hours will be scheduled and are distributed 24/7 and we expect you to have the possibility to work both daytime, evening, weekends and nights.
