We are the industry leader on connected wheelchairs and are now recruiting a new passionate full-stack developer to our trusted software team to be able to continue to improve and expand our services to our users.
Permobil is on an exciting journey, and we are expanding our Software department to meet the demands for new IT-services for our customers and users worldwide. We are responsible for the product development of software for our complex rehab powered wheelchairs and online IT-services linked to the everyday life of the wheelchair user, clinicians, and providers.
We have developed an Io T-platform giving us the ability to easily develop services end-to-end from the wheelchair to the web, mobile applications, and advanced analytics. We develop high quality software in the healthcare and medical device domain for the end user with cyber security and risk management built in from the start. We work close to our powered wheelchairs and their accessories giving you a unique possibility to combine software and hardware.

Key responsibilities
Design, program and verify our software solutions for both server, clients and mobile applications.
Work according to company policies, rules, processes, methods and guidelines.
Designing and programming server and client solution based on the solution and reference architecture as well as best practice in the field of software development.
Responsible for doing investigations and analysis of trends in the area of software development outside Permobil.
Responsible for verifications, unit testing and peer-reviews to ensure quality in our delivered solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
University degree in relevant field with 120p or more, or similar experience in the field of software development.
Very good knowledge in developing and designing server or client applications, such as mobile- and web applications.
Very good knowledge in Java Script and Type Script in the Node JS domain and frontends based on Angular, HTML, CSS and SASS.
Good knowledge in mobile app development for i OS (Swift) and Android (Java(Kotlin).
Good knowledge in verification of server or client applications.
Knowledge of and experience from agile working methods like Kanban and Scrum and tools like JIRA, Ansible and Jenkins.
Experience from source control tools like GIT, Gitlab and Github.
Comfortable with using Linux or other unix.
Extra meritorious
If you know several programming languages relevant for the business, such as C, C++, Java.
If you know several operating systems such as i OS, Android, Linux (Ubuntu), Mac OS and Windows.
Who you are
We believe that you are a creative problem-solver, with 2-5 years of experience (or more), who is passioned aboutthe field of software development. Through your passion and your problem-solving you contribute to the user-experience, and you understand the difference we make for others through our work. It is required that you can express yourself clearly in both English and Swedish.
We are a small team, and it is vital that you see your contribution to the entire process and take part in all aspects of software development, from requirements capture to verification of web applications. You are self-motivated, goal oriented and have good collaboration skills.
This role is based on-site at Permobil's brand new cutting-edge innovation center in Birsta, Sundsvall, at the state-of-the-art facility, which unites research, manufacturing, and sustainable practices under one roof.
