Description We are looking for a R&D Process Expert to join our Bushing team at Technology Center in Ludvika, an organization leading continuous research and development activities on transformer accessories. In this role you will contribute to improve of the performance of existing manufacturing processes and support on developing new ones. As a member of the highly skilled global Technology Center team, you will run projects and contribute to the global roadmap execution.

Develop new and improve existing epoxy casting processes for high voltage bushing manufacturing, as part of the R&D team and R&D global organization
Lead qualification of new materials and/or new suppliers projects self-driven on time, on budget and on quality
Organize prototyping and testing activities to validate new technologies and new products
Document and transfer your knowledge and findings from R&D to production environment both locally and in other facilities abroad
Provide technical support in domain of expertise to other departments when needed both locally and in other facilities abroad
Stay up to date with the latest technology solutions, international standards, market trends and customer requirements relating to transformer high voltage bushings
Your background
You hold a university degree in a relevant area, such as chemistry or similar.
Deep knowledge of epoxy casting processes. Experience in developing of HV insulation components, preferably bushing
Proficiency in the use of simulation tools (e.g. Ansys, COMSOL)
Responsible team player with structured, proactive, self-driven and result oriented work approach
Fluency in English, written and spoken alike, is a requirement. Swedish is a plus
Knowledge of manufacturing and product development
