About the position
We’re looking for Product Manager to join a small team focused on the backend systems for managing our clients Audiobook classification. You’ll partner with taxonomists, audiobook editors, backend engineers, data engineers, and beyond. Audiobooks is an exciting new content vertical at our client with opportunity to learn and shape things. You’ll drive development of the Audiobooks Genre System as we expand to new markets and build parity with our Music and Podcasts experience. This role is crucial in ensuring audiobooks discovery is effective, safe, culturally relevant and enjoyable for Spotify users.
What you’ll do
Lead the roadmap and execution for the Audiobooks Genre System
Define the evolution of genre tooling and its data products
Manage the integration of this system into the clients ecosystem
Establish mechanisms and baseline metrics for performance
Build internal awareness and support
Who you are
Background in platform product management
Experience with data classification
Able to unpack ambiguous problems to form clarity and direction
Collaborative by nature, getting energy from bringing people together
Comfortable working with distributed teams across multiple timezones
