Your role and responsibilities
Are you a driven and strategic individual with a passion for product development, marketing, and sales? At ABB Motion Sweden, we are looking for a Local Product Manager to develop, optimize and market our product portfolio of frequency converters on the Swedish market. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing and adapting the global product portfolio to meet local market demands. You will collaborate closely with global product managers and the local sales organization to develop and implement long-term strategies. The role also involves working with marketing communications to plan market activities and product launches, as well as monitoring competitors and market trends. Your responsibilities includes: • Identifying local market segments and growth opportunities. • Shaping portfolio development to meet the needs of the local market and customers. • Managing the product life cycle, including product launches and phase-outs on the Swedish market. • Being responsible for the strategic pricing of the portfolio. • Coordinating and developing sales support and tools to facilitate sales.
Qualifications for the role
At least 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, and strategic work.
A degree in engineering or a related technical field is required.
Experience in electrical engineering is a valuable plus
Strong communication skills, comfortable collaborating across different departments. You are efficient and skilled at working with various people at different levels.
Analytical and business-oriented with a solid understanding of customer needs and market trends.
Previous experience working with global teams and local markets.
A valid driver's license is essential.
Proficiency in both Swedish and English is a must.
