Job description
We are looking for you who is passionate and has genuine interest of food, beverages and trends, always being service minded and guest oriented. You are responsible for a positive experience for our guests/customers by developing an attractive event and catering offer, both for internal and external customers. Contribute towards securing a great food and beverage experience by developing an attractive and sustainable catering range according to our guidelines. Ensuring smooth and efficient planning and execution of events and catering.
Your responsibilities will include:
Qualification
As a Food Event & Catering Leader, you demonstrate genuine interest of food, beverages and trends. You possess ability to identify, structure and plan new ways of working, routines, priorities, and activities with good decision abilities. You are able to use the knowledge of the restaurant and service business and be flexible and precise in the daily work. Your entrepreneurial skills to see opportunities, new solutions and ways of working will lead you through our leadership capabilities and values. Your impeccable cooperation and collaboration with internal and external partners go hand in hand with problem solving and to be open for changes. You adapt to be flexible, and service oriented in your everyday work with focus on high quality.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for development of an attractive and relevant event and catering offer.
- Responsible to secure compliance to relevant food safety rules, legislation at the different event and catering.
- Secure collaborations and be the speaking partner for food content with internal and external partners, suppliers and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the sales, profitability, concept and offer, agreements, procurements, inventory for all catering and events
- Contribute to improved ways of working to increase efficiency
- Secure participation in projects connected to development of IKEA Älmhult AB
- Contribute to a safe & healthy work environment.
- Act as a role model leading by example and promoting the IKEA Culture & Values.

- Extensive experience of plan and execute events and catering.
- Desire to always provide an excellent guest experience.
- Self-reliant and self-motivated with ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
- Good analytical skills and ability to create structure, plan and prioritize detailed assignments and deliver with high quality.
- Ability to handle multiple topics and changing priorities/deadlines.
- Experience of economics and budget and to deliver strong business results.
- Proven ability to maintain effective work behavior throughout setbacks or peak.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written. Knowledge of Swedish language will be an added advantage.
