As Facility Project Leader you will lead the construction aspects of specific building projects from start to finish and ensure compliance with all relevant demands and regulations include tenants ordering, according to decided ways of working.
You will focus to develop, manage and optimize the business locations in south Sweden on behalf of Inter IKEA Group Sweden by creating preconditions for Inter IKEA Group companies to grow with a long-term sustainable perspective. Developing our current and future business locations including both properties and outdoor areas to support the need of the business. Demonstrate your skills to manage and develop our assets to increase long term value. Focus to develop, manage and optimize business locations by making them sustainable, easy affordable and fun IKEA places and spaces.
On behalf of IKEA Älmhult AB your responsibilities will include:
Prepare maintenance plans for next year's budget and provides technical solutions and quotes on the solutions as a basis for next year's maintenance budget for each property / facility managers.
Responsible for the implementation of actual year's maintenance budget / project and to ensure that it is carried out according to maintenance budget, time-plan, quality, safety.
Responsible for maintenance project planning, procurement (according to the routines in the investment manual, external consultants, suppliers, contractors), implementation, inspections, training, cost monitoring and documentation.
Follow up and reports the status of each project to the respective responsible Facility leaders.
Providing support in terms of technical and maintenance matters in project.
Managing the maintenance projects in accordance with IKEA standards and guidelines.
Managing and obtaining the different permits that will enable the maintenance projects from start to the end.
Lead the internal co-operation between the tenants and external co-operation.
Qualification
You possess good leadership capabilities including high commitment to business goals by thinking holistically, long term and driving towards expected benefits. Have the capability to plan and organize, being mindful of safety, quality, time and budget. Have a flair to build trustful relationships at all levels of the organization and with stakeholders and possess the desire to learn from others. You gave strong desire to improve and simplify current ways of working and solving problems and dilemmas in line with IKEA key values. Hone your abilities lead in the unknown and in change and being proactive and fact-based decision maker with the ability to prioritize, delegate and escalate with good analytical skills.
At least 5 years of experience from maintenance projects or similar assignments. Previous role may be from maintenance operation duties.
Experience of complex technical systems.
Experience of working in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience of working in teams and strong ability to create structure and organize.
Strong time management skills and ability to work with constant change.
Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
