Within our executing unit Infrastructure, Heavy Civil, we have four national teams, totaling around 70 experienced employees, working on the construction and maintenance of bridges, tunnels, and marine structures. A large portion of our projects are carried out in collaboration with other units within the company and with our bridge and quay specialists primarily in Denmark. COWI also offers the opportunity to participate in international networks within your area of expertise and the possibility of working abroad if that is something that interests you.
Currently, we are seeking several roles for our teams in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsingborg and Malmö. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about doing a great job, having a good time at work, want to be part of a wonderful construction team, and help us grow.
Your job tasks may include:

• Leading both larger and smaller projects within the field, ensuring high quality in our project deliveries.
• Acting as a contact person for clients in projects within your engineering discipline.
• Mentoring and guiding colleagues.
• Planning and performing design calculations.
• Participating in internal development projects and driving market and business development.
• Collaborating with colleagues within your discipline as well as other disciplines to coordinate work between them.
• Maintaining continuous communication with clients and internal resources.
• Possibility to participate in ongoing construction works and contribute to site monitoring.
• Conducting bridge inspections and damage investigations.

To be suitable for this position, you also need to:

• Have a degree as a civil engineer or a higher education engineer in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Civil Engineering
• Have experience in civil engineering, either as a contractor or a consultant, preferably as a bridge and infrastructure designer or a specialist in bridge maintenance and inspections.
• Strive to develop your knowledge in Civil Structure and contribute to the development of colleagues and processes.
• Enjoy engaging in dialogue with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Have an interest in conducting business and delivering excellent financial and technical results.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
