The role of Content & Communications Manager
In this role you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the brand’s visibility and engagement within the business aviation industry globally. You'll need to be able to leverage cutting-edge automation and AI technologies to drive strategic initiatives that create immense value for the Avinode Group customers. You will have good partners in the Marketing and communication team of 7 people and the company’s advertising and PR agencies. Key Responsibilities Content Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with Avinode's brand voice, creating engaging content for websites, newsletters, press releases, whitepapers, and social media. Editorial Management: Manage the editorial calendar and streamline content production, identify thought leadership opportunities, implement SEO best practices, and track engagement metrics. Communication & PR: Execute communication strategies across all organizational touchpoints, manage PR agency relationships, prepare press releases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Brand Management: Apply brand voice and visual identity consistently, contribute to brand development, and use data-driven insights to refine brand messaging and assets. Performance Metrics
Monitor and analyze communication effectiveness using advanced data analytics.
Provide regular reports on communication metrics and business impact.
Track the ROI of AI and automation implementations.
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in communication or equivalent experience
At least 4 years of experience in B2B communication, preferably in aviation.
Proven track record in content creation, social media strategy, and PR.
Strong writing and project management skills.
Proficiency in SEO, marketing automation tools, and CRM systems.
Familiarity with AI-powered marketing tools and automation platforms.
Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Adaptability to new technologies and industry trends.
Fluency in English.
Experience in video content creation (preferred but not a must).

Good to know The role is broad, and we understand that you may not have experience in all areas from the start. We are looking for someone with a strong background in communication, excellent writing skills, and project management experience, preferably in B2B. It is also very important that you are tech-savvy. This is a full-time permanent position. The headquarters are based in Gothenburg but Avinode Groups policy is "remote first" if you want. Hence, you don't have to live in Gothenburg, but in this position there is value in being able to be in the office regularly.
