The Theory of Electronic and Optical Excitations in Solids Group at CFM is offering a
technician position (6 months) starting in 01/10/2024 to work with Prof. Julen Ibañez Azpiroz,
in Performing optical response calculation in the Weyl semimetal Ta Ir Te4 using Floquet
theory.
The position will be funded by the Research Association MPC - Materials Physics Center.
The salary will be of 17.398,20 euros during the first year before taxes. This contract is part
of a project that has received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the
Horizon 2020 programme for research and innovation in the European Union.
Candidates must hold an Master degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering, preferably in
the field of Theoretical Physics. Expertise in condensed matter will be highly appreciated for
this particular position, as well as background in spin-dependent phenomena.
