To ensure crop cultivation resulting in the requirements of the Breeder/Researcher, to facilitate an effective selection of crops.

What you bring as a Team Lead colleague :

We are looking for a team lead that may be accountable for leading, developing, motivating and coaching the assigned team members, advise and support of less experienced Agronomists. This require to be accountable for cultivation of a given crop(s) all over the site (incl. climate control, crop protections, fertilization, irrigation).
You ensure all tasks within the crop trials are executed in such a way that it's aligned with the crop and financial/budget objectives.
You use technical knowledge and experience to partner with Breeders/Researchers and agree on the most effective conditions.
You are responsible for a healthy and safe working environment.
and the participation in and contribution to the International Growing teams.

Main internal contacts

Breeders, Researchers - Alignment on crop cultivation and management. Joint market visits to exchange information and provide advise on crop cultivation
Sales Representatives, Trial Officers, Crop Specialists - Joint market and trial visits to exchange information and provide advise on crop cultivation
Other Agronomist (national and international) - Exchange of knowledge and experience

Required certifications, knowledge and skills

Expert knowledge of and experience in crop cultivation and plant physiology
Proficiency with climate computer
People (management) skills
Proficient in English language, both written and verbal
