Blue Code Alicante is hiring 3 new System Engineers (Daa S) for our client Daa S (Desktop as a Service) Competence Center based in the Netherlands.
You will become part of a Managed Services environment and will be placed in a Competence Center. This team focuses on the Desktop as a Service (Daa S) proposition. The following products are supported by this team: Microsoft Citrix Virtual Desktop, Remote Desktop Services (RDS), Azure Virtual Desktop and Omnissa/Vmware Horizon.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that new customers are warmly received by setting up things to be in control and stay in control.

Be the primary technical point of contact for customers, ensuring regular communication and guidance

You advise customers and end users on working methods and procedures.

Active participation in project groups for setting up and expanding the management environment.

Project support for the design of the management tooling and documentation.

Active participation in automation projects (scripting, self-service portals, etc.)

Reactive Support and pro-active management by identifying problems and bottlenecks.

Advising customers on innovation and structural solutions.

Implementing (standard and non-standard) changes at our customers.

Managing customer expectations by communicating progress and solutions correctly and on time.

Ensuring up-to-date documentation.

Knowledge development and knowledge sharing.
- Collaboration within and outside the Daa S competence Centre.
Requirements
-
Minimum +4 years experience as System Engineer within medium to large ICT environments (typocally +100 workstations).

Minimum +4 years experience with one or more of the following: Citrix Virtual Desktop, Remote Desktop Services (RDS), Azure Virtual Desktop or Omnissa/Vmware Horizon.

Experience in setting up, managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, particularly virtualized desktop environments

Higher professional education working and thinking level

Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- EXTRA: experience with IT service management tools like TOPdesk is a plus.
