Operations Logistics Manager HUB Airbus Helicopters
Job Description: Mission Run at operational level & challenge physical logistics activities on quality, time and cost through integration of all stakeholders (such as Service providers, Procurement operations, FAL/Plant Logistics…) acting in the physical logistics process from unloading of parts to delivery. Contribute to the overall success of deliveries to the final customers.
Manage and develop the logistic HUB team (<10 persons) to drive logistic providers to operational excellence and to build confidence with internal customers.
Scope of activities: - HUB in Albacete - Warehousing management of the french, german and spanish Operations stocks in the HUB - Support of the AOG Spares implant - Logistics provider management - All internal customers: civil FALs, Governmental FAL’s, Plants, … - All external customers: Oversea FALS, S&S HUB, Spares AOG Customers, Return to Suppliers, Queretaro,… - 2 warehouses: main HUB in Albacete and secondary warehouse in Almansa.
Job description Runs the execution of the physical logistics activities operated by the LSP
Monitor physical logistics flows: to respect the order in the incoming of the goods, to store them correctly and to ensure the quality (condition and quantity) of the outgoing goods to the customers.
Ensure an accurate Inventory Management
Streamline the processes to reduce the costs of logistics: improvement of the daily activities, transportation between sites,...
Monitor the efficiency of the logistics processes to ensure the delivery on time and accurately
Increase productivity by pushing the most efficient processes, improvement , new technologies,...
Monitor the activities by ensuring the respect of the performance KPIs.
Contribution to the processes adherence: processes definition & execution
Support for the correct deployment of the other associated processes to run the warehouse
Ensure that the surfaces and the infrastructure are in adequation and allow to execute correctly the activities
Coordinate with the transport department (implant in the HUB), the AOG department and the Customs department
Resolve issues with the LSP, the customers and the others stakeholders: root cause analysis and mitigation plans
Drive escalation process
Manages the execution of the Logistics Provider (LP) contract:
Monitoring and coordination with the LSP: SQCDP, performance reviews, Steering Committees,...
Challenge LSP by providing regular feedbacks and tackle any deviations
Provide forecasts and review with LSP if the the adequation Workload/ Capacity is ensured
Control Forecast vs Actuals
Invoicing: drumbeat and confirm the mensual invoices, in case of discrepancies analyze the root causes and if necessary improve of the processes
Claims management: follow up of the claims linked to the non respect of the contractual indicators, monitor the costs of the non conformities generated by the LSP
Change proposals management: technical review of the change proposals, validation of the scope and challenge the associated cost.
Manages compliance to regulatory and safety obligations
Contribute to corporate audits and industrial maturity (internal and external audits)
Support the audits in collaboration with quality and implement actions to close findings.
Ensure compliance with the different regulations & authorities (Export Control, Customs, Environment,…)
IOS: coordination with H&S, plan prevention supporting
Team management
Build team spirit, engagement and customer oriented mindset.
Develop local team cohesion and management of the team (performances, objectives review, development plan,...)
Work collaboratively with other managers of the Onelog team to align expectations and tasks sharing in the Logistics E2E organization (Quality, Customs, Export Control, Security, H&S, FM, Environment, IM/M&T, IT,..)
Local interface customers / Customer Care
Improvement of the Customer satisfaction: perform regular CFL (Customer Feedback Loop) and provide mitigation plans
Proactivity to identify potential issues and address the problems to help the customers
Increase the visibility on the Logistics performances: dashboards, regular communication
Increase the visibility of the logistics flows: tracking and monitoring the goods
Be in closed contact with the local customers: participation of the local routines (daily, weekly, monthly,..)
Competencies

International experience, mostly Europe.
