CAF Digital & Design Solutions is a multidisciplinary engineering centre specialising in the development of railway vehicle projects, as well as an accelerator in the implementation of digital manufacturing and a benchmark in digitalisation and additive production in the capital equipment sector. Mission This person will be responsible for conducting maintenance studies of railway systems. Is the main interlocutor with other Engineering and ILS functions (Technical documentation, RAM-LCC, Safety, Design Engineering, System architect, etc.) with purpose to capture all information that can influence design and the maintenance strategy. Education Reporting to the Support Engineering department and directly to the head of his team (ILS Manager), the LSA engineer will be in charge of:
Ensure REX is collected and considered: use operational feedback to improve ILS strategy
Analyse, optimize and validate support and maintenance elements from the design stage
Capitalize data in central ILS repository (LSA database). Update reference library documentation and factors for conducting ASL studies.
Guarantee the export of ASL requirements to the suppliers
Produce and validate ASL deliverables, to deliver QCD(Quality Cost Delivery) commitments in coordination with the ILS Management Plan.
Education
Mandatory: Engineering University degree or equivalent
Relevant experience required
1-3 years working experience in ILS: either in Engineering Services, LCC & LSA analysis, or maintenance plan definition and management,
Experience in working with suppliers, partners and customers
Has a proven level of autonomy and can work well in a stand-alone role.
