Frontend Developer with Accessibility Expertise (WCAG Compliance)

WHAT WOULD YOU NEED? ✍️
5+ years of experience in Frontend Development (HTML, CSS, Java Script).
Deep understanding of WCAG (A, AA) compliance and web accessibility best practices.
Proficiency in using accessibility testing tools such as Axe Dev Tools, Wave, Monsido, DEQUE, Voice Over Mac, and Google Lighthouse.
Experience with Product Detail Pages (PDP) and Product Listing Pages (PLP) in e-commerce environments.
Ability to perform web accessibility audits, and implement code-level fixes.
Strong communication skills and experience working in international, remote teams.
Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including UX, product, and development teams.
Fluent in English (knowledge of French or Spanish is a plus).
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Conduct web accessibility audits on home pages, Product Detail Pages (PDP), and Product Listing Pages (PLP).
Review and update websites to ensure 100% WCAG A & AA compliance.
Collaborate with the development and design teams to create accessible features.
Implement code fixes and improvements to ensure keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and accessible design.
Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure compliance across all platforms.
Provide regular reports on accessibility compliance and progress to stakeholders.
Work remotely from France or Barcelona, collaborating with teams across different locations.
