Job Summary:
The Brokerage Supervisor is responsible for managing the workload of hourly staff, developing team goals, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, and training hourly employees on compliance with regulations and requirements. The Brokerage Supervisor maintains productivity and is well versed on international commerce and transportation industry changes.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to Compliance and Quality Processes
Respond to information requests and notices of action from customs to ensure timelines are met
Evaluate performance against quality goals to develop process improvements and increase quality levels
Provide Customer Care Assistance
Conduct customer meeting and quarterly business reviews to assist customers in maintaining a leading business edge
Conduct Exception Reviews
Review reports to manage exceptions proactively
Resolve customer queries in a timely manner and to ensure that we meet customer needs while negating any penalties
Be up to date on the customs' memorandums and follow-up on all the regulation changes within the industry.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
Minimum 3 years of practical experience
Certificate/license holders in a related field - Preferred
Able to provide people with tools, knowledge, and opportunities to develop themselves
Find new and innovative ways to solve business problem
Effective data analysis ability and reporting skill
Positive and able to work well in a team environment
Strong desire for high achievement and contribution to the organization
Proficient in MS office program
Have a transportation available for customs/customer meetings
Able to handle business matters and converse with overseas partners in English
