Scope of the role: We seek a strategic and innovative Site Operations and Merchandising Manager with a strong analytical mindset to join our team. The successful candidate will drive the performance and optimisation of our client’s online store, collaborating closely with developers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and engaging shopping experience. This person will lead a team of site merchandisers, overseeing item setup and bundle creation and providing essential guidance and support in daily operations. This position is pivotal in propelling our online sales growth and enhancing the customer experience of our client's customers, offering an exciting opportunity to shape the digital footprint of their apparel brand and drive success in the competitive e-commerce area.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Task Management: Lead and mentor the site merchandising team, manage tasks in Asana, and provide daily operational support, ensuring efficient item setup, bundle creation, and timely completion of objectives.
Product Listing & SEO Management: Oversee product listings on Shopify, ensuring accurate descriptions, images, pricing, and SEO optimisation to improve search rankings and drive organic traffic.
Merchandising Strategy & A/B Testing: Develop and implement data-driven merchandising strategies, conduct A/B testing to improve conversion rates, and enhance the customer shopping experience.
Analytics, Pricing & Inventory Management: Analyse sales data, customer behaviour, and product trends, implement pricing strategies, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate restocking with the planning and supply chain teams.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Campaign Management: Work closely with e-commerce, marketing, creative, product, and UX/UI teams to align merchandising with brand strategy and manage promotions, campaigns, and site maintenance to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Requirements
C1 English level, with excellent verbal and written communication skills (Must Have)
3+ years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, site operations, or digital apparel management (Must Have)
Extensive knowledge and proficiency in Shopify platform management, including product listing and inventory management (Must Have)
Ability to learn and utilize the Kimonix app for advanced merchandising functions (Must Have)
Familiarity with SEO best practices for e-commerce and SEO optimization (Nice to Have)
Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization techniques (Nice to Have)
Familiarity with Asana for task management and Slack for team communication (Nice to Have)
