Job Introduction
G4S Secure Solutions (SA), a leading provider of integrated security management solutions, has vacancies for multiple Senior Technicians with experience in working on ATMs/Safes/Banks etc based at our sites in Witbank reporting to the Project Manager. The successful incumbent is a self-starter with a proven track record in maintaining company policy, adopting best practices, and is able to exercise sound judgement in the pursuit of the achievement of the goals of the organisation, and understanding the role of the Senior Technician plays within a successful business unit. The incumbent will be expected to be results driven and to live the values of the organisation. Main Responsibilities
Main Purpose of Position To provide an expert service relating to the implementation, installation and maintenance of technology contracts and projects. Effective management of operations
Complete daily tasks with close monitoring of standards
Client retention and customer service levels
Maintenance of positive customer relationships
Quality Management/ Operations Process management – adherence to quality standard
Effective management of business development function
New business development
Identifying new business opportunities in the region’s sphere of operations, as well as in terms of growth of business with existing customers.
Health and Safety
Participate in the design/ development/ review/ implementation and monitoring of the branch/region/national safety plans for each year.
Participate in safety forums created by company for example safety meetings and safety talks
Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
Discuss all safety incidents on all levels
Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meeting/committee/representative/management
Attend safety education and refresher programmes
Comply with safety policies and procedures at workplace
Distribute safety information as and when required
Experience in working on ATMs/Safes/Banks etc advantageous
Experience w.r.t. implementation of the following systems (advantageous):
I. CCTV
II. Alarm
Driver's Licence Non-Negotiable
Extensive experience w.r.t. implementation of the following systems:
I.CCTV
II.Alarm
Experience in Sales by compiling scope of work
Financial Management relative to managing profitability
Good conceptual interpretation and presentation of financial and operational reports to the Regional Technical Manager
