Senior Barman
- Set up and Maintain a Par level of stock on hand.
- Supervise and manage Stock takes.
- Ensure Accurate Stock Takes
- Delegate tasks that need to be fulfilled to your junior barmen.
- Make sure that all Bar staff work correctly with all alcohol and that nothing gets wasted or that stock counts does not yield a minus.
- Resolve Staff grievances between the Barmen or the barmen and other staff, should you not be able to resolve this, bring it under your Manager’s attention.
- Manage Bar staff so that they complete duty checklists, maintain consistency of all drinks that are being served by making sure that all the bar staff know what each drink should look like and what the recipe quantities are of each drink.
- Reprimand Bar staff should that be needed.
- Help with new menu cocktails and drinks development
- Make sure that all storerooms are always neat and tidy, and all bar staff has a standard on where stock is kept. (Delegate that this be done)
- Think of and implement new systems that will help you ensure all the above with approval
Pay: From R8 000,00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Potchefstroom, North West: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
- Certificate (Preferred)
- Hospitality: 2 years (Required)
- English (Preferred)
