Restaurant Manager (Night Shifts)
An upmarket restaurant located within a prestigious hotel in Cape Town CBD is seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee night operations and maintain the highest standards of service.

- Manage all night shift restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and exceptional guest experiences.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
- Oversee guest service to ensure high standards of hospitality and address any issues promptly.
- Manage stock control, inventory management, and ensure accurate end-of-shift cash-ups.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain service flow and ensure menu consistency.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
- Ensure the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
- Assist with staff training and development to enhance team performance.
- Handle shift schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing levels for peak hours.
- Monitor financial performance, track budgets, and manage cost control.
- SA citizen.
- Recent experience as a Restaurant Manager in an upmarket restaurant (+- 2 years).
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations within an upmarket setting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Familiarity with inventory management, financial reporting, and stock control.
- Ability to manage night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance regulations.
