Rates and Sales Coordinator
Cedar Wood Recruitment is now recruiting for our client, a company who owns a collection of luxury lodges and hotels for a Rates and Sales Coordinator.
The chosen candidate must have experience in rate contracting, to provide the necessary support to the sales team of a hospitality group.
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, Marketing and Reservations, the candidate will become a point of reference for colleagues and customers alike.
Scope & General Purpose:
LEVEL -Administrative
EXPERIENCE- 3 to 5 years in same or similar field
SALARY -The package includes a Provident fund of which the company contributes 5%

Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales co-ordination and rate contracting
- Good computer skills (MS Office, MS Excel, Power Point)
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
- Works well and accurately under pressure
- A team player with high level of dedication
- Qualifications in business administration or relevant field; certification in sales or marketing; experience with reservations systems will be an asset
Scope & General Purpose:
- Issuing of rates & specials as required
- Assisting with the set-up and contracting of yearly rates
- Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material
- Respond to queries and assist our customers when requested
- Store and sort data in electronic form and present reports
- Database management
- Assist in the preparation and organizing of educational trips, trade shows and sales trips.
- Uploading of information and reports onto the sales CRM system
- Pre-sales trip organizing and diary management for the Head of Sales, Marketing and Reservations
- Post sales trip and trade show follow ups and reports
- Interaction with tour operators on any information requirements
- Weekly / Monthly reporting on sales activities
- Co-ordinating the reservations of approved site inspections
LEVEL -Administrative
EXPERIENCE- 3 to 5 years in same or similar field
SALARY -The package includes a Provident fund of which the company contributes 5%
- Position is based in Bryanston, Jhb
- Salary: R28K – R32K COST TO COMPANY (MAX offer)
- 5% provident fund is available (compulsory)
- Company does provide medical aid but forms part of CTC package
- Valid RSA ID is required
- Access to reliable transport
- Proven track record as per attached spec
- NOTE: Company Retirement Age is 60
- Candidates must be available for interview face to face
