A Company contracted to a Pharmaceutical Company requires the services of a Quality Systems Coordinator. This company is based in Chloorkop, Kempton Park, and manufactures cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, toiletries, and hard soap bars, committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers. Our dedication to excellence drives us to maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance across all operations. We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Systems Coordinator to join our team and support our ISO 9001 quality management system.
Role Overview:
As the Quality Systems Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our quality management systems meet ISO 9001 standards and support our manufacturing processes. You will play a crucial role in monitoring and improving quality systems, conducting audits, and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise in the cosmetics/food manufacturing environment will be essential in maintaining our high standards of product quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain ISO 9001 quality management systems in compliance with industry standards.
Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards.
Monitor and analyse quality metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices, ensuring the company remains compliant with all relevant standards.
Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Facilitate training sessions for staff on quality management procedures and ISO 9001 requirements.
Oversee documentation and record-keeping related to quality systems and audits.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

Matric and post-matric qualifications required
Minimum 3 to 5 years working experience at an International Cosmetic / Food Manufacturing Company in a quality systems role.
In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 & 13485 standards and quality management principles.
Strong experience with quality audits, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action implementation.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Expertise in ISO Coordination & carrying out ISO Internal and External Audits
Must be able work under pressure.
This position is deadline orientated
Ability to multitask in a fast paced, team-oriented setting
Must have a light motor vehicle license
Must be fluent in English
Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel

Job Type:

Permanent with a 3-month probation period.

Salary:

R25,000 – R30,000 per month

Residence:

Must live in Kempton Park or surrounding areas within a maximum 20km radius
