We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Officer to join our team for an exciting windfarm project. This role requires a candidate who is willing to relocate to Eastern Cape and is ready to manage the quality aspects of a large-scale renewable energy project.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Quality Control Plans (QCP), Quality Dossiers (DO), Quality Testing & Inspection Plans (QTIP), and Method Statements (MS).
Oversee quality assurance for installation, ensuring compliance with SANS, ISO, SABS, and IEC standards.
Conduct and manage factory inspections, regular site inspections, and testing and commissioning activities.
Ensure accurate and complete documentation in line with project timelines and standards.
Supervise and develop the quality team, ensuring optimal productivity and adherence to quality standards.
Maintain regular communication with Project and Construction Managers, providing updates and addressing technical issues.
Identify and implement lessons learned to improve quality management systems and processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

Extensive experience in quality management, particularly in large-scale construction projects.
Strong understanding of quality assurance and control processes.
Proven ability to manage teams and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
Flexibility to work non-standard hours and adapt to project needs.
