There is an exciting new opportunity for a New Business Manager: South Africa, based in JHB/Centurion.
Role summary To manage PERI business (customer, projects, turnover, discount) within a defined area and identify and action Key Strategic projects to build new customer trading relationships. To grow PERI market share within your geographically area of responsibility
Your Responsibilities
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in mining formwork & industrial scaffolding
Maintenance and development of relationships with major customers and professional associations
Take lead role in identifying and acquiring Key & Strategic projects & the pipeline management thereof.
Take lead role in identifying and acquiring Formwork contracts in specialised segments to build & grow new business opportunities. Expanding PERI networks.
Active Collaboration with the Board of Directors
Identify opportunities for expansion in the above mentioned
Develop and deliver CRM pipeline & forecast
To engage with Sales Management and Technical Sales Representatives.
Creating & submitting offers & Tenders to serve role objective.
Initiatives to create custom pricing templates where needed for the different role objectives.
Liaise with functional departments (Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance etc.) to ensure offer input requirements are of the highest standard.
Collaborate with KSP engineering team for the successful sales acquisition of identified Key Projects.
Consistently record and communicate offer criteria, status & results with management and relevant team members.
Ensure proposal timelines are managed effectively and efficiently, from concept-to-completion.
Minimum Requirements: Qualifications
Strategic leadership experience in construction.
Experience & ability to close high value contracts.
Additional requirements
Ability to travel frequently locally & international at times.
Skills/Attributes
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Strong work ethic, open and reliable
Ability to understand financial drivers
Ability to pro-actively seek opportunities & convert them to long standing business relationships
Ability to set, facilitate & negotiate meetings with High level stakeholders across all industries.
Excellent communication, presentation and social skills
Keeping update and abreast of market trends and developments
Advantageous:
Education
10 Years’ experience in Formwork & Scaffolding
International Industry experience will be beneficial.
