*Job Summary:*
We're seeking a well experienced Master or Senior Boilermaker to join our maintenance, fabrication and manufacturing team.
Individual will repair maintain, perform steel fabrication, install of numerous parts perform preventative maintenance tasks, attend to breakdowns and fault finding on one of the most advanced fully automated cement brick and tile manufacturing factories in South Africa.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Preventative and planned maintenance
- Building new parts and machinery
- Maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and production staff
- Ensure safety procedures and safe working in the work space
- Troubleshoot/resolve mechanical issues
- Advance and excellent Tig, mig and arc welding skills
- Excellent and high accuracy fabrication skills
- Excellent gas cutting skills
*Requirements:*
- 8 + years boilermaker experience
- Interpret blueprints and specifications
- Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
- Extreme attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving/communication skills
*Preferred Qualifications:*
- Qualified Red Seal/NQF Level 4 plus trade test
