Marketing Manager - 5* Hotel & Estate - Constantia

Kendrick Recruitment is currently recruiting for a hands-on, dynamic, highly innovative, energetic Hospitality Marketing Manager for a well-known 5* property, based in Constantia, Cape Town.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing all marketing functions. Candidates MUST HAVE at least 3 years of Marketing Management experience within a luxury hotel environment (non-negotiable).
Applicants must be based in Cape Town.
Responsibilities:

Develop marketing strategies per brand and present to the Board
Develop a marketing strategy for the portfolio
Plan and co-ordinate marketing campaigns
Oversee the overall marketing budget
Plan promotional campaigns
Be the brand custodian
Manage all marketing activities
Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications/ ROI monitoring and reporting
Create a wide range of different marketing materials
Work closely with and manage agencies and key suppliers
Research and analyse market trends (locally and internationally) and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies
Grow our client’s Brand in South Africa and beyond
Implement marketing strategies for new projects
Monthly reporting to EXCO and the various hotels on marketing initiatives and new projects
Drive internal marketing initiatives
Designing, planning and implementing all marketing strategies
Maintain close working relationship with sales, revenue management, finance and operations departments

Requirements

University or graduate degree (in marketing, business management)
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a Marketing Manager in the luxury hospitality industry - Essential
Proven experience in designing, implementing and delivering marketing strategies
Proven track record in executing marketing initiatives
Strategic planning skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
Excellent organizational and administrative skills
Outstanding communicator
Strong computer literacy and competency with Microsoft Office packages
Driven and ambitious, real passion for the products and markets
Entrepreneurial thinking and team player
Result-oriented, takes initiative and positive attitude
Strong analytical and project management skills
Ability to establish and maintain relationships
Team player
Highly passionate

Salary: R50,000 CTC per month, dependent on experience
