Marketing Manager
Head Office: Waterfall/ Hillcrest Kwa Zulu Natal
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Strategy: Create and develop comprehensive marketing strategies that build brand awareness and drive sales.
· Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships in line with company culture, with external agencies, suppliers, strategic partners to enhance and marketing outcome and execution.
· Budget Management: Plan, oversee and align marketing creative execution to the planned budgets without compromising on the outcome or quality of way of work.
· Market Analysis: Monitor and analyse market trends, consumer behavior, competitor activity, to ground and inform marketing/campaign strategies.
· Campaign Management: Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, social, email and print.
· Cross Departmental Collaboration/Co-Creation: Work Closely with other departments to ensure consistently, alignment and a collective brand culture execution message is delivered.
· Brand Development: Maintain a strong brand identity aligned to the culture and ethos of the business, its values, stakeholders, retail customers and end user.
· Promotional Activities: Craft, co-create and execute advertising, promotional activities, including print, online and social media.
· Events: Craft and organize events such at launches, tradeshows, promotional activities to enhance brand awareness and visibility, in-house staffing events.
Experience/Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
· 5+ years marketing experience with experience in the retail industry (essential)
· Strong strategic and self -lead leadership skills
· Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies.
· Excellent communication skills
· Excellent attention to detail
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
· Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to think out of the box
· Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Please note that the above role is based in Waterfall KZN and NOT in Johannesburg.
The role does require the successful candidate to have their own vehicle
The role does require the success candidate to travel and work outside of their ordinary times from time to time due to the nature to the role.
