Are you detail-oriented and enjoy working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly? Our hotel in Thohoyandou is seeking a hardworking Kitchen Associate (Scullery) to ensure the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. If you take pride in maintaining a spotless environment, we want you on our team!
Main Responsibilities:

- Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
- Wash and store all crockery, cutlery, glassware, and kitchenware efficiently.
- Assist with the general cleanliness of the kitchen, ensuring floors are mopped, spills are cleaned, and waste is disposed of properly.
- Organize and store cleaned items in designated areas to support the kitchen team’s smooth operations.
- Assist with unloading and organizing deliveries, ensuring stock is stored correctly.
- Report any issues with kitchen equipment or supplies to the kitchen manager.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Matric (Grade 12) certificate.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Physically able to perform tasks such as lifting, standing for long periods, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or scullery environment is advantageous but not essential.
