GP Aftercare Assistant
The Girls’ Preparatory invites applications for the abovementioned position which will be available from 1 January 2025.

The requirements for this position are:
- To assist with Aftercare duties within the Girls’ Prep between 12H00 – 18H00
- A teaching background and/or experience working with groups of children
- A first aid qualification is preferable
- An unequivocal commitment to working as part of an accomplished team
- Ability to take initiative and to act decisively
- Care and supervision of all students at the aftercare facility
- Assist with the extra mural program of aftercare students
- Supervision of lunches
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent people skills
- Good administration and computer skills
- Proof of registration with SACE will be an advantage
- A sexual offender’s clearance certificate. Any staff working within a school are required to have a sexual offender’s clearance certificate.
- A willingness to work within the values, Methodist Christian ethos and mission of the College as well as participation in the broader life of the school
