The successful incumbents will be responsible for:
o Gearboxes
o Variable Speed Drives
o Hydraulics
o Pneumatics
o Overhead Gantry Cranes
o Boilers
o Steam Applications
o Lubricating Systems
Specific Skills Required:
- Performing scheduled maintenance on plant & equipment
- Attending to machine breakdowns
- Installation of new plant & Equipment
- Ensuring that plant & equipment conforms to legislative requirements including the
- Training and mentoring unskilled artisans
- Trade Test fitter and turner
- Minimum of five years post apprentice experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven Experience in a manufacturing environment on:
o Gearboxes
o Variable Speed Drives
o Hydraulics
o Pneumatics
o Overhead Gantry Cranes
o Boilers
o Steam Applications
o Lubricating Systems
Specific Skills Required:
- Diagnostic & Fault finding skills
- Ability to read schematic drawings
- Ability to plan workload.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to work under pressure
- Prepared to work overtime & perform standby duties
