Tsebo Facilities Solution is looking for an Electrician responsible for providing electrical support with regard to reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance on plant and equipment, within the service level requirements of the Sun International contract. Support the Facilities Manager with the technical workplace services, in a manner which achieves the objectives of Sun International in accordance with the Master Service Agreement. Duties & Responsibilities
Operational Delivery:
Carry out the electrical repair and maintenance of all building related issues
Ensure that all jobs are carried out in a safe and competent manner
Clean-up work area on completion of a job
Ensure the workshop is kept clean and clear at all times
Ensure that all Work Orders are completed prior to submission to the Facilities Manager
Proactively log any electrical maintenance issues you identify at the TFS Helpdesk
Tools are to be looked after and maintained in a good working condition
Carry out any duties as required and instructed by the Technical Manager
To provide support with regard to reactive and proactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance on interior, exterior fabric, lighting, machinery and fittings
Undertake documented inspections, as notified by your Manager
Undertake proactive quality inspections of the site and log any issues identified with the TFC call centre
Undertake planned preventative maintenance tasks
Undertake proactive and reactive maintenance tasks and repairs
Carry out inspections in relation to OHS Act requirements and ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the OHS Act requirements
Escort and oversee sub-contractors where necessary and ensure all works are carried out in accordance with OHS Act requirements
Ensure all sub-contractors leave the area in a clean and tidy state when the work is completed and ensure the sub-contractors remove their rubbish and waste from site once the work is completed
Service Delivery Management:
Ensure performance requirements are met (SLA’s and performance management)
Maintain an accurate record of all maintenance documentation, warranties, licences
Ensure the safety and maintenance of all assets and equipment.
Establish and maintain a good working relationship with the management and staff.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with suppliers, and contractors to ensure customer needs are met.
Do minor repairs to all electrical equipment.
Ensure the maintenance stores and stock rooms are clean at all times
Conduct stock control and check stock levels as prescribed.
Attend to associated electrical defect sand installations
Be on standby duties as and when required
Inspect the electrical and power tools on a monthly basis, document the inspection and file the paperwork in the site H&S file
Customer Focus:
Work with teams to develop and maintain a customer-focused attitude toward activities
Interact with clients to provide and process information in response to enquiries, concerns and requests about services
Work with processes and procedures in such a way that operational efficiencies and performance are enhanced
Attend to and resolve all client queries timeously or escalate when necessary
Follow up and follow through on all escalated queries timeously
Manage conflict
Reporting:
Prepare weekly/monthly reporting within set timeframes for submission to your Manager as requested
Update and maintain all relevant records

Skills and Competencies
Knowledge of electrical equipment, materials and suppliers used in facilities management.
Have a good knowledge of machine tools, general maintenance.

Qualifications
Matric
NQF Level 4 electrical/technical qualification
Minimum 5 years’ electrical experience in a similar environment
