Job purpose:
We are currently hiring an experienced Electrical Lead who will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to the setup and maintenance of electrical infrastructure. This includes electrical wiring in our vessels, troubleshooting electrical malfunctions and performing repairs.
Given the inherent risks involved in this role, we require an individual who prioritize safety and adhere to precautionary measures.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience working with various electrical devices and systems in the marine industry.

Duties and responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Execute plans of electrical wiring and electrical systems.
- Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment.
- Install safety and distribution components.
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components.
- Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.
- Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions.
- Lead Installation Team on Production Line.
- Trade qualification.
- Proven experience as an Electrician in the Marine Industry.
- Demonstrate ability to use electrical and hand tools and electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with Engine Rooms, Control Systems, Navigation, Instruments, Ventilation, Solar, Inverters and Chargers, Appliances, DC and AC voltages.
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Own transport and valid driver’s license.
