Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Sales & Exports
-
Provide quotations as per customer requests in line with customer requirements for export customer base.

Capture PO's when received and ensure delivery times are met.
-
Expedite orders as and when required; ensuring that orders do not excessively exceed promised delivery dates.

Invoice in a timely manner and ensure that all export documents are available for shipment despatch.

Ensure efficient transport planning and shipments of products including, in-house, subcontracted, outsourced and non-assembly products.

Process credit notes as and when required.

Resolve any export related enquiries.

Provide customers with adequate feedback and back-order reports when required.

Assist with VAT submissions on a monthly basis (providing export documentation for shipments that have been despatched and delivered)

Ensuring that all export related costs are signed off for payment and submitted to the finance department.

Assist with following up of payments as requested.
Trade Compliance
-
Conduct Trade compliance vetting on new customers/ad-hoc suppliers.

Ensure controls are kept over all Trade compliance policies and procedures.

Ensure all records are kept for audit purposes.

Assist with all Trade compliance related queries.
Competences, Skills and Experience:

2 years related work experience.
-
Extensive experience in a fast-paced customer service setting.
-
Experience in a manufacturing environment with a quality brand is desirable.

Responsible, accountable and ability to work independently under pressure.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Highly proficient level computer skills including Ms. Word, Power Point Excel, and Outlook

Excellent telephone sales personality skills.

Highly energetic and self-starter and self-motivator or competent.
