Camps Bay, CT - AU PAIR - 3 AFTERNOONS PER WEEK PLUS OVERTIME
Area: Camps Bay, CT
Ages: 15 year old daughter
Working hours: Tues, Wed and Thurs 15:00 – 19:00 – Overtime may be needed when the father is travelling for work and will be paid additionally
Travelling work hours: When the dad is travelling internationally, you will required to sleep over and assist with morning drop offs and weekend work. This will be discussed ahead of time and paid at an overtime or daily rate. This would happen every 2-3 months.
School holiday hours: Same hours as above - flexible around this.
Duties: Collection from school, take to extra murals and activities, assisting with shopping for school supplies, taking to playdates, ensuring the child has meals, occasional sleep overs, and morning runs while the dad is travelling. Weekend work while the dad is travelling.
Requirements: Female aged 23 years and older with prior experience and is reliable. Personality type – outgoing, sociable, able to communicate well First Language ENGLISH, the family is a French speaking family but speak English fluently.
Start date: ASAP - Contract until June 2025
Salary: R8000 - R8500 per month plus SARS Rates (R4.84) per km
Please note, the Dad will be travelling extensively in November, which is out of the ordinary. He will need the following assistance:

2nd November - Full day plus sleep over
3rd of November - Full Day plus sleep over
4th November - Morning run and Afternoons
9th November – Full Day plus sleep over
10th November – Full Day plus sleep over
11th November - Morning run and Afternoons plus sleep over
12th November – Morning run and Afternoons plus sleep over
13th November – Morning run and Afternoons plus sleep over
14th November - Morning run and Afternoons plus sleep over
15th November - Morning run and Afternoons
18th November - Morning run and Afternoons plus sleep over
19th November – Morning run and Afternoons plus sleep over
20th November – Morning run and Afternoons plus sleep over
21st November - Morning run and Afternoons plus sleep over
22nd November – Morning run and Afternoons
26th November - Afternoons Hours
27th November – Afternoons Hours
28th November - Afternoons Hours
Duties: All driving during these times, ensuring there is food in the home, assist the daughter with making food etc, keep her company.
For the above hours in November a monthly salary of R20 000 for the month plus petrol.
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
