The role of the Business Manager will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and should have a strong financial background and good project management knowledge as well as an in-depth knowledge of the business and industry.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
· To assist the CFO with various functions ranging from pro-active financial analysis to business and increase the available time and agility of the CFO to focus his time, effort, and priorities on strategic initiatives
· To act as a liaison between the CFO and other stakeholders both internal and external
· To be responsible for all the data reporting needs within the business to integrate into Exco and board reports
· Project management and ensure on-time delivery of action items within budget requirements
· Prepare the necessary documentation and presentations as required for internal and external audiences by prioritizing and validating information that facilitates sound decision-making
· Evaluate commercial information and recommend compelling value propositions
· Oversee and deliver on strategic projects in the office of the CFO as aligned to the company’s strategic roadmap
· Promote a service mentality and develop strong relationships with consumer, business and technology areas
· Resolve problems and mediate disputes before it is escalated to the CFO where possible
· Facilitate the receipt and dissemination of key information by working closely with the CFO and the relevant leadership team
· Represent the CFO in meetings and action decisions / deliverables as mandated from time to time
· Financial review/analysis and interpretation
· Prepare executive summaries and updates on expenditure/cost against deliverables
· Proactively engage relevant teams on operational and reporting items as required from time to time
· Monitor and support the implementation of cost saving initiatives
· Reporting and Governance
· Ensure a sound reporting framework and good governance principles are in place and is adhered to, in alignment to Company’s standards.
· Work with key stakeholders to design and develop and an automated dashboard that displays the CFO’s KPIʼs and is fit for purpose
· Ensure business decisions are implemented and executed within the approved and accepted governance framework
· Ad hoc requirements
Technical and professional qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred
• 7+ years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in the retail sector
• CPA or CFA certification is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations

· Project management experience
· Experience in consumer or business credit environment will be an advantage

· Working knowledge of the fundamentals of financial analysis and budget process
· Thorough understanding of the ICT/ Telecommunications Market and in particular, products, services, technologies, and business processes
