Assistant Planner/Buyer required for Manufacturing Company based in Jacobs.
Purpose/Role:
To ensure accuracy and efficiency of the production process with a specific focus on analytical recording and reporting . To deal with customer problems, questions, or concerns by coordinating with the proper company personnel to provide accurate answers for them. And to act as the facilitator to the Senior Buyer and Planner and other team members.
To be successful, you should be confident, highly organized and an excellent communicator. An outstanding assistant planner/buyer has an analytical mind with good interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Planning:

Ensuring Order Fulfillment
Keeping a detailed track on the status of all orders

Attending to & resolving Customer queries & complaints, etc.

2. Purchasing

Preparing and compiling pricing strategies and analysis
Placing and tracking purchase orders
Managing inventory

Requirements:

Matric with Good Math's and Accounting
2+ Years Working Experience
Excellent Excel Knowledge Required

Pastel Sage beneficial
Good with computers i.e. ability to catch onto in-house computer systems
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Mathematical and Analytical
Good written and spoken Communication skills in English
Be able to create systems to work more efficiently
