Main purpose of the job
Providing academic vision to the faculty and leading the strategic development of the faculty in alignment with the university’s strategic priority areas.
Main tasks
Achieving the faculty’s strategic goals and operational targets.
Managing human, financial, physical and other resources.
Managing change
Managing and overseeing quality and standards.
Planning, organising and decision-making.
Leading and developing individuals and teams.
Participating in the development and management of the university’s strategic plan
Nature of appointment: Five-year Senior Manager performance-based contract
Minimum salary scale: (Total Cost to Company) R1 715 399 per annum
Note: CUT applies an internal parity model to determine remuneration that complies with the principle of “equal pay for work of equal value”. Accordingly, the preferred candidate may expect an offer that is in line with their qualifications and years of similar experience.
