The Risk and Compliance Lead for the account will hold a key leadership role within the account structure being part of the leadership team and helping drive the account forward strategically within this sphere of operation. Primarily focused on risk management and adherence to the risk requirements of SCB this role requires a self-starter who can interpret requirements to develop controls and training methods to ensure outcomes are met.

Strong interpersonal skills are a must as interactions with at all levels of the organisation will be part of the day-to-day deliverables, this will include interactions with the client at a senior level and also being able to hold training sessions with the operations team. A key requirement will be able to think of new ways of delivering outcomes and challenging the status quo to constantly innovate, ensuring we are not standing still.

This is a role will suit someone who is comfortable with change and is happy to develop programmes and material as the needs of the client and C&W develop over time.

This role can be based in Singapore, Philippines or Hong Kong. Job Description
  • To act as account single point of contact for both SCB Risk programme and the C&W Compliance and Assurance activity.
  • To co-ordinate the C&W Internal Audit schedule and perform these internal audits across all countries. Work with the Account leadership to decide on the frequency of the reviews and to provide feedback and recommendations to the regional management team.
  • Liaise with the operational teams in each country to track and update the country Assurance Plans and SCB Risk actions.
  • To provide monthly and quarterly updates on Risk and Compliance for the leadership team advising:
  • upcoming reviews, completed reviews, action plans advising of any consistencies in gaps, non-compliances, challenges.
  • To escalate gaps/non compliances where required.
  • To track any policy changes within C&W and log any revisions to the existing processes.
  • Be responsible for collating new processes, ensuring these are uploaded correctly into the system, numbered and communicated with the account team – Act in the Administrator role for the
  • Quality Management system to ensure independence from the Operations team per QMS9001 standard.
  • On behalf of C&W maintain the SCB risk programme ensuring monthly updates are completed in a timely manner.
  • To co-ordinate risk reviews with workstream owners as and when required
  • Take on ad-hoc duties in support of the account as and when needed

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Degree and or Masters; Any (preferred FM or general management qualification)
  • 5 to 10 yrs in general management and/or functional leadership position with at least 3 yrs at senior level delivering services in an FM arena
  • Have worked in a risk / compliance capacity and be able to demonstrate programme management experience to ensure dispersed teams are delivering to outcomes
