Assistant Executive / Executive, Transhipment
Purpose:
It includes coordinating shipments, verifying documentation accuracy and maintaining effective communication with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless global transit in transshipment hub.

It includes coordinating shipments, verifying documentation accuracy and maintaining effective communication with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless global transit in transshipment hub.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the transshipment process by scheduling and arranging the movement of goods between different locations.
- Communicate with Global officers and carriers to coordinate schedules, resolve any issues, and ensure timely shipment transit.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to verify compliance with shipping specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Comply with all safety regulations, security protocols, and company policies governing the handling and transportation of hazardous cargo.
- Monitor and track shipments in transit to ensure best efficiency, and minimize handling errors.
- Address any delays or discrepancies that may arise during the transshipment process.
- Assist in resolving inquiries related to transshipment activities, providing timely updates and solutions as needed. This current role can be enhanced by having knowledge in operations, which will be beneficial for handling job responsibilities.
Job Requirements:
- Candidates who possess at least Higher NITEC or Diploma in Maritime Studies / Shipping-related disciplines are preferred.
- Candidates with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in similar role at shipping agency will have an added advantage.
- Candidates with knowledge in Portnet/Tradenet, MS Office such as Excel and Word applications will be preferred.
- A team player who can work under fast paced environment with good communication skills.
- Graduates without prior experience in the Shipping industry are welcome to apply.
